Surespan, the Black Country manufacturer of safe access solutions, has relocated to a new 76,000-square-foot headquarters on Walsall Road, Aldridge. The facility combines extensive warehouse accommodation with modern office space and dual vehicle access on a 6.32-acre plot.
The move brings sales, marketing, technical, finance and operations together in a single open-plan building for the first time. This strengthens collaboration and creates a faster, more integrated route from advanced 3D design through to manufacture. It also enables Surespan to prototype, test and industrialise new ideas under one roof.
This investment also underpins the group’s international ambitions. From Aldridge, Surespan is supporting the continued expansion of its Sunsquare Skylights brand in North America, including a growing portfolio of roof access skylights engineered specifically for the U.S. market, as well as established partnerships with contractors in California.
Following the acquisition of Sunsquare, the business is actively developing a U.S. partner network, combining British engineering with local distribution, installation expertise, and, where appropriate, further targeted acquisitions. The aim is to position a Black Country-born company on the global stage while keeping high-value design and advanced manufacturing anchored in Aldridge.
