We are live again!!

If you enjoy spoken word, poetry and a little music, we have it all. Creative writers from Walsall area and beyond in the open mic section, a headline poet of renown, and the musical talent of The Redemption Brothers.

7:15 pm, allowing a little time for the safety measures. Finishing about 10:00 pm - please book in advance for an open mic slot and/or a seat to listen. Numbers may be limited.

HEADLINER: Kuli Kohli 

Indian-born Kuli Kohli runs a Punjabi Women’s Writing Group and writes for Disability Arts Online. She’s performed around the West Midlands, London, Liverpool. A guest lecturer at Berlin’s Humboldt University. Her life story appeared on BBC News online and BBC1's Sunday Morning Live show.

The NEW NORMAL for Spoke:
The Lamp theatre space is big enough and airy enough for distanced seating at tables. A few measures are in place for safety and in keeping with scientific guidelines. Please do follow them.

Entry - pay as you feel (preference £3)
Free tea/coffee, other drinks at the bar
Raffle 50p
Poetry books may be available to purchase from local poets.
