Spoke in the Lamp- 27th September 2023 with Tom Allsopp
7th September 2023
... Comments

t’s the end of summer, daylight and night time hold equal sway of the days and autumn’s russet shades will soon paint the trees. But here at Spoke, on Wednesday 27th September, as the sun dips below the helmet of Jigger, the Brownhills Miner, we’ll once again be painting the air with fine words for the enjoyment of all.

Tom Allsopp will be regaling us as our illustrious September headliner. Do come and soak up the sentiments and, if you’ve a literary bent, bring your own spoken word to add allure to the Wednesday dusk. And if that’s insufficient to tempt, there’s an extra item to pull your strings! Apple Venus, Walsall’s poetry duo will be refashioning our ear waves with added soundscape.

All in all a night to remember!

Please email or Facebook-message for a spoken word slot, to spoke@albarz.uk to help us be slightly organised.
