Richard Tice MP (pictured) visited Streetly and Aldridge, Walsall on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2026 to rally the troops- the Reform UK team of candidates and supporters- for campaigning in the upcoming Walsall Council elections. He met local residents and chatted to them in Streetly’s Queslett Road pub before going with local candidates to canvass on the doorsteps.
Later the same morning, Richard visited the Weatherspoons pub in Aldridge and had a Coca Cola with locals. Irene Henery (pictured) a Walsall resident for 30 years, was there to welcome him. Irene is standing as a candidate in Rushall-Shelfield. Asked what he thought of Walsall, he said, “Wonderful. Walsall wants Reform and Walsall wants Starmer out.”
The Walsall Council elections is an all out election whereby all 60 seats are contested and voters can choose 3 candidates each. Polling day is on 7/5/26. Voters are reminded to bring ID in order to be able to vote.
