This Sunday, Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists celebrate the 4th birthday of their poetry night Yes We Cant, which has run every month – except for August each year, when the  3Ps take a month off – since June 2017 when Johnny Fluffypunk headlined their first event. Since then, the great and the good of performance poetry have headlined the night, and it’s offered a platform to over 140 different open mic poets. Covid means that Yes We Cant takes place on Zoom for now, rather than in its home at the Pretty Bricks in Walsall, and the pandemonialists are delighted that for their birthday celebrations they’re welcoming headliner Sophie Sparham from Derby. She’s a cracking performer.

Holly Magill joins us from Worcester to claim the ‘Alf Ender slot. All ten open-mic spots have already been taken, but audience spaces are available. For an audience link, email poetsprattlerspandemonialists@gmail.com Oh, and bring cake. It’s a birthday!

The event starts at 7.30pm and works, as always, on a pay-as-you-feel basis.
