Poet Steve Pottinger has been making the most of lockdown. With time on his hands after the publication of his latest book of poems and the shutdown of live gigs due to Covid-19, he’s chosen to create and publish digital editions of previous books which have sold out in paperback.
‘Island Songs’ (2012) ‘more bees bigger bonnets’ (2015) and ‘a fine fine place (2017) are now available to download in formats for all e-readers. Steve’s publisher, Ignite Books – aware of the rise in job insecurity due to the pandemic – has kept the price of these digital books low, and will be directing 50% of any money made on sales to support the work of The Haven women’s refuge in Wolverhampton.
