Many families may have missed the information sent out by schools, and health care officials are keen to ensure every child has the opportunity to be protected.
Flu cases are continuing to rise, and children are particularly vulnerable to catching and spreading the virus. Vaccinating children helps protect them, their classmates, and more vulnerable family members.
Vaccination UK, the organisation delivering the school-aged immunisation programme across the Black Country, is offering the free nasal flu vaccine or a free porcine free alternative to all school-aged children.
The online consent form is quick and easy to complete and must be submitted before the vaccination session in school.
