The Walsall-born singer-songwriter performed at Walsall Arena on Sunday 6 September as part of Spotify Hometown, a new live music series celebrating the places and communities that have helped shape some of the UK’s leading artists.
Walsall was the first location in the new series, with Jorja performing where she grew up and first began writing and recording music as a teenager.
The intimate performance brought together around 600 fans, alongside Walsall talent including fellow artist Wesley Joseph and The Blue Lights Choir, giving the community that helped shape Jorja’s journey a place at the heart of the show.
Now, the concert film gives audiences beyond Walsall the opportunity to experience the performance and see the borough showcased on a global platform. Spotify announced Hometown as a series designed to bring artists back to the communities that shaped them, with each live performance subsequently released as an exclusive concert film.
