
From swimming and roller skating to racket sports and spooky celebrations, Walsall’s Bloxwich, Oak Park, Walsall Gala and Darlaston Active Living Centres will be abuzz with half-term excitement.

Families can make a splash with public swimming and pool fun sessions every day across all four centres. Full timetables are available on the council’s website: https://go.walsall.gov.uk/sport-and-leisure.
Making a return this half-term are the ever-popular Big Bounce inflatable events, which take place on Tuesday 28 October at Bloxwich Active Living Centre and Friday 31 October at Oak Park Active Living Centre. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended via https://www.bigbounceevents.co.uk/tickets/.
Roller skating sessions will be available at Oak Park on Wednesdays from 1:30–3:30pm and Saturdays from 1–3pm, and at Bloxwich on Thursdays from 10am–12pm and Sundays, 10:30am–12:30pm. Sessions cost £6.70 per person, with skate hire available for £2, cash only.
Families can also look forward to enjoying racket sports, with badminton courts at Bloxwich and Oak Park available for just £7.50 before 5pm, squash courts at Oak Park for £6.90 before 5pm, and table tennis available at Bloxwich, Oak Park and Walsall Gala. Equipment hire is available at all venues.
Bloxwich Active Living Centre will host a Halloween Spooktacular on Friday 31 October, from 10am–2pm, offering a family-friendly day of spooky fun for £5 per child. Adults can enter for free, and children must be supervised.
