Caldmore Community Gardens are holding free willow workshops with artist Kate Morrell.  The workshops will be held on Tuesday 18th April, Tuesday 25th April, Wednesday 3rd May and Wednesday 10th May.   Caldmore Community Gardens are inviting people to learn to sculpt their own small willow animal and get involved in making some bigger sculptures for everyone to admire.   Artist Kate Morrell will exhibit the techniques she uses to make the sculptures from start to finish.  The workshops will be fun and relaxed willow weaving as part of Caldmore Community Garden`s creative Women`s Tuesday`s group.  Activities will take outdoors weather permitting.       Kate Morrell is an experienced willow artist based in Leicestershire.  She set up her workshops 4 years ago and has met some wonderful people who have sculpted the most fantastic sculptures.  Kate`s website is https://katemorrellwillowworkshops.co.uk.   "Please aim to attend all 4 workshops" said Kate "as they are seen as a process.  We start from learning how to make a small sculpture for our own garden and proceed to make a few larger ones to install at the Community Garden.  We will be working in small groups so you will get help and support from me and other women."   Caldmore Community Garden is located in Carless Street, Walsall WS1 3RH.   To book a place and for the times of the workshops please email caldmoregarden@gmail.com or text 07871813252.
