Users of libraries in Pheasey and Beechdale will now have access to the free technology after a national project link-up between Barclaysand BT.
The project will see BT Digital Friends and Barclays Digital Eagles provide free technology to help people in the local area develop their digital skills further.
One of these advice course, The Barclays learning programme, will be launched later this summer and form part of the wider computer learning initiative which will be taking place at all libraries in the Walsall area.
Council bosses are confident this new scheme will allow more Walsall residents to access the digital world.
