In the run up to Christmas, shoppers in Walsall Town centre can benefit from 14 days of free parking in council-controlled car parks
The usual parking charges will be suspended from Saturday 20th December until Friday 2 January
This free parking applies to the 1,200 council-owned off-street parking bays only, and charges will still apply at on-street parking bays and private parking operators
With the festive period well under way this is fantastic news for Shoppers in the lead up to Christmas Day as well as for boxing day sales.
With late night shopping taking place in Walsall on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd December, shoppers can take advantage of this free parking before Christmas.
