Darlaston All Active will be hosting a evening of local history to announce their success of securing HLF (Heritage Lottery Funds) £42,800 of behalf of Darlaston community with old film footage from Darlaston Back In Time and Enrolment  ON FRIDAY 11TH MARCH 7.00pm (free entry )

‘Darlaston Back In time project’ will run for 18 Months. It will include memories and experience from 1930's to 1950's  and examine the factories that existed during World War II. These will be recorded and published in a Book and CD  Video and photo footage for future generations.

Weekly workshops will be held at Darlaston All Active where the local community will learn new skills and gain interest in their local history research. Darlaston All Active is based in the OLD Garrington works  where many of our community would have worked during these times.


Our older and younger generation are very important to deliver this project on behalf of Darlaston Community so we would like to invite any members of the community whom may have memories , story's, photos etc, who would like to be a part in  this great project to attend our open enrolment evening.
