After a three year wait the return of…..The Cultures of Walsall Festival!

 

A spectacular fusion of music, dance, food and cultural activities from many of the Borough’s communities. We have live music from an amazing range musicians and bands drawing from cultures all over the world including Poland, Iraq, Africa and India . We have circus from the Incredible circus Raj. Many of Borough’s cultural communities are represented through stalls in our cultural village giving you a chance to sample some of the delights their culture has to offer. There will be arts and crafts, fairground rides and selected food stalls as well as circus workshops and family inclusive sports.

 

The Cultures of Walsall Festival is promoted by Caldmore Village Festival Group in association with Caldmore Community Garden. This year’s festival also incorporates Caldmore Carnival Procession 2022 which will process from the park up to Caldmore Green and will be led by the spectacular Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band.

 

We have a spectacular line up  for the main stage including  the founder member of the legendary Steel Pulse, Basil Gabbidon, Polish Pop music from the band FRKS –  up tempo afro beat from Nifeco Costa and performances from the never to be forgotten Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band among many more!  For the full line up and programme visit https://caldmorevillagefestival.wordpress.com

 

The festival marks the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and features the best of Walsall and the world!

 

It takes place at Palfrey Park on June 4th  12.00pm -6.00  and its free to enter!
