The Acorns Great Big Kids Party (GBKP) returns for another year! It’s your chance to hold a party, big or small, have fun and raise money to help support local life limited or life threatened children and their families.

What is Acorns Great Big Kids Party?
The Great Big Kids Party is the perfect excuse to get your friends, family or colleagues together and behave like big kids for a good cause. Whether it’s retro fancy dress from your childhood era, an old school disco or recreating iconic children’s party games; acting like a big kid for Acorns will help support local children and families in need of specialist palliative care.
The children and young people that Acorns help are not expected to reach adulthood and require specialist care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the last year Acorns has supported 865 children and 1,088 families, including those who are bereaved.
Acorns provides a happy home-from-home environment for life limited children whilst being in the safe hands of our specialist care team. They also provide support for the whole family, including short breaks to give families much needed respite from round the clock caring and support groups for siblings, parents and grandparents
