The Best Of Walsall held a Charity Fun Gaming Night at The Grosvenor Casino, Walsall in aid of Acorns Children Hospice and The Mayor’s Charity Appeal. The fundraiser, which took place on Thursday 2nd February 2017, was a great success raising £3,500 for the charities.
The night, hosted by Grosvenor Casino Walsall featured Black jack and Roulette giving people the chance to win a wide range of prizes donated by The Best Of Walsall Local businesses. The prizes up for grabs ranged from an iPad to a Mercedes Benz for the weekend. Some participants had a better poker face than others, but it was all great fun and all for a good cause!
The Mayor said , ''I was blown away by the generosity shown from local businesses on the evening. St Giles Walsall Hospice does a fantastic job and is very close to my heart so the money raised is invaluable”

Special thanks was also given to Graham Pinches, owner of Religion Nightclub in Walsall, who made a very generous donation on the evening to both causes.
The cheques were presented to The Mayor of Walsall and Acorn's Children's Hospice inside the Mayor's Parlour.
