1pm - Fungi Frida and the Myco Heroes by Georgie Taylor - theatre performance brought to Caldmore by Black Country Touring.
Here we are in Plasticland - there`s rubbish everywhere and that`s no good! Join Fungi Frida as she travels along the Wood Wide Web to meet a host of mycological superheroes and find the perfect mushroom alley to help us clean up the plastic - she can`t do it without you!
Fungi Frida and the Myco Heroes is an hour long energetic, sill, interactive outdoor performance full of songs, games, clowning and puppetry for 0 - 12 year olds and their families all about fungi and how they can help us save the environment.
Georgie Taylor is an actor, accessible theatre maker and faciliator from the North West of England and now living in Worcestershire. She trained at LIPA and has since been part of the core artistic team of various theatre companies. In her work she is guided by principles of kindness, honesty, magic and play and many of her projects centre folklore, the environment and wellness. Through storytelling, clowning, street theatre, puppetry, mentorship, tutoring, rural touring and partipatory work, she works with young peopl, adults and their communities in private, educational and public settings.
