Are You Heading to Walsall Town Festival This Weekend?
22nd July 2015

The Walsall Town Festival has been on since the 18th of July and will be coming to an end on Sunday the 26th - but there is still a range of activities, workshops and shows to enjoy before then so be sure to get some of these events in your diaries!

There are some fantastic events taking place, including a circus act produced by the critically acclaimed group NoFit State which will be taking place on both Saturday and Sunday - so be sure to catch one of their shows as it is guaranteed to get you on the edge of your seat. Full details of times and locations can be found on the main programme which can be found here.

There are also a range of workshop activities that are being ran by Helen's Haberdashery workshops which are all based at Victorian Arcade. Events include stage makeup and plaster casting for children aged 11+. Both of these events are taking place on Friday the 24th, but please note that these two events do need to be pre-booked and also require an upfront fee to cover material costs. However not all workshops taking place need to be pre-booked as quite a lot classes allow drop-ins and are also free; perfect for those who are looking for fun activities to keep the kids occupied without breaking the bank. For full details and list of events please refer to the workshop programme here.

But if you just fancy sitting back, relaxing and listening to some live music, then why not head over to Wharf Bar on Saturday 18th from 4pm for an evening of live music after 'Walsall on Stage'. It's guaranteed to be full of quality acts, and not one to be missed. The full Fringe Programme with other live music and spoken word acts is here for you to have a look at.
