Applications should be made for children born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 who are due to start primary school from September 2026.

Primary school offers will be made on Thursday 16 April 2026.
The primary schools admissions process is online, and parents will be able to view their results by logging into Walsall Council’s School Admissions Portal on the school admissions pages of the council website in April.
Last year, over 95% of Walsall children were offered a school place at their top preference, and nearly 99% of children one of their top three preferences.
The council has a legal duty to offer children a school place and will always try to meet first preferences.
