Andy`s Man Club has been launched in Walsall , bringing a nationally recognised peer support initiative into the heart of the local community.
Andy`s Man Club is a new weekly group in Bloxwich giving men aged 18 and over a safe, welcoming space to talk openly about their mental health and wellbeing. The group is free to attend, requires no referral or diagnosis and is open to any man who who feels he could benefit from connection and conversation.
Andy`s Man Club was founded in 2016 following the death of Andrew 2Andy" Roberts, who took his own life aged just 23 years old. His family wanted to challenge the stigma surrounding men`s mental health and create a space where men could talk honestly without judgement. from a single meeting attended by just 9 men the initiative has grown into a national movement with hundreds of groups across the UK.
