On Wednesday 18th February Community Matters CIC in Willenhall held a KFC chicken foodbank at The Milestone in New Invention, walsall.
No food vouchers or referrals were required and the foodbank included bread and cereal, fresh fruit and vegetables and flowers. The foodbank represented surplus stock.
"A huge thank you to Susan Supersue Fletcher and maria banner for all your hard work" said Marion mansell from Community Matters CIC.
The KFC chicken community treat was a great success for the foodbank at The Milestone. "What a fantastic day its been" said marion Mansell. "It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the moment together.
We`re truly grateful to see everyone who came along and shared the day. Bringing people together, spreading kindness and creating positive experiences is what community is all about - and today was a perfect example of that. More events coming soon".
The foodbank is held every Wednesday at The Milestone and no booking is necessary. Collection only.
