“Five years ago, we were at our lowest points,” says Tal Singh. “But we made a choice, to fight for our lives, our health, and our future. Today, we’re not just sober, we’re thriving. This walk is a celebration of that, and an invitation to anyone who needs to know that change is possible.”The walk begins at 12:30 PM at the Bandstand in Willenhall Memorial Park, before joining the canal and heading toward Wolverhampton Town Centre. Participants will stop midway for lunch (packed lunches are encouraged) before returning to Willenhall. The round-trip is approximately 10–11 miles and expected to take 4–5 hours. The event is open to the public. All are welcome, those in recovery, those supporting loved ones, or anyone passionate about promoting mental and physical wellbeing. This community event aims to shed light on addiction recovery, break stigma, and promote healthier lifestyles, both mentally and physically.
