Took my dog Harry for a groom. They did an amazing job of a dog who does not particularly like a bath. Haha
That are very kind and really good with the animals. Harry does not like loud noises, so are careful with the blowers around his ears.

We picked up our Nigel this morning after his first time at K9 Core where he stayed for the last 3+ weeks during Storm Arwen. We were away, worrying about him. We needn’t have, he was just fine apparently in the hands of these dog loving, amazing people. We had used another kennel in the past quite faithfully for over 20 years, but they closed their doors to business recently due to covid. I am quite happy they closed their doors, otherwise I never would have had the great fortune of trying K9 Core with our beloved furry child. The difference in him when we picked him up and got him home was like night and day! You can tell they (Jess) got to know our dog and his little quirks well. I never had that feeling with the other kennel. K9 genuinely cares for the animals in their care, and it shows! Nigel was excited to be home but calmer than he’s ever been after returning from the kennels. Thank you, K9 Core, for taking such great care of our little man.

Marshall, my border, had occasion to stay for a week. Booking in his stay was a lengthy process. However, when I took him in I was able to book him a grooming session whilst there, which he was overdue for, and although not quite ready when I went to collect him the groomer did a very good job on him (thank you). As a boarding facility they require that the pet boarded be vaccinated appropriately and treated for worms and fleas which is a very sage precaution; I would hate my pet becoming ill through another and, likewise, I would not have liked my pet causing another's illness. All in all I think the staff were very helpful and professional. Hopefully, Marshall will be booked in for another stay soon.

The only place we will take Kassie our GSD. We never have to worry about her and know that she is in excellent hands and has her needs met and more. Jess is so knowledgeable and truly understands the personality and behaviour of dogs, especially Shepherds that can be a bit of a handful when young. Literally wouldn't trust anywhere else with our dog. Thank you!

I have used the K9 Core boarding kennels a couple of times for my bulldog who has many special requirements such as medication, daily face wipes for wrinkles and ears, over heating issues and much more. Both times he has come back happy and healthy, I could see pictures of him from the K9 Core Facebook site and also message Jess who was happy to give updates on his welfare. Jess and the team seem to be very understanding of his requirements and have ensured his care is to my own standards. Highly recommended will certainly be returning in the future, great care and facilities and very professional service.

I struggled to find somewhere suitable for my nervous reactive rescue dog but Jess and the team have really put my mind at ease and treat Lola as an individual with her specific needs. I've seen photos of her looking relaxed on her woodland walks and, most importantly, she comes back to me the same dog who went in. No additional anxieties or increased reactivity.
