Second time I've bought soft sand and cement from Gills.<br><br>Both occasions they were the cheapest on the web so my expectation of the service was not high but they were faultless on both occasions.<br><br>Easy web ordering - took a couple of minutes, even though it was about 7pm on a Friday night<br>They called to confirm the order/delivery first thing on the Saturday morning and offered delivery on the day.<br>Gave me an approx. delivery time over the phone and said driver would call ahead... and he DID! (well impressed with that!)<br>Driver was helpful, friendly, courteous and put the items exactly where I asked.<br><br>All in all, top notch organisation. Having been using the likes of Wickes, B&Q etc for bulk purchases over the years, but Gills are definitely the new "Go-To" for me for this kind of stuff.

Absolutely fantastic. Superb service. Outstanding from the easy to use website, the office staff (when I wanted to add to the order) and the delivery driver who couldn't have been more helpful - despite the location not being the greatest and right next to a telegraph pole and lampost. On top of that amazing prices. Will definitely be keeping their details and using them again.

Just wanted to say absolute love the service we received from here. Me and my husband first time we ever been to gills. We wanted gravel we met a Lovley woman who worked there. Sorry didn’t catch your name. But she was very helpful she explained everything about all the gravel. We orded 2 loose tons and wow I must say they are very nice gravel and probably the best and cheapest in Walsall. Thank you gills will definitely be coming back again. 👊👊

Order ton topsoil and around 60 turf but topsoil wasn’t that good quality also turf was bit dry out also was not good quality either, I realised as I was run out of some Turf and seen in same price but very good quality turf some other place so bought it and I can see the difference. Please shop around for this two items. Customer service I can say very good, professional and helpful no doubt on that. I hope it’s helps.

From ordering to delivery everything was quick and easy , the moonstone garden pebbles where very good quality ,and look very nice, The delivery guy was very helpful ,placed the item just where we needed it ,even though it was a tight fit , very good service

Very good service, ordered 8 large bags of mot and sand on Sunday evening, called me Monday morning to confirm delivery and delivered Tuesday.<br>Good quality and stacked where I had asked even though I wasn't home.<br>Very good on price ,would definitely recommend 👌

Excellent value for money on the MOT Type 1 hardcore that I purchased. I ordered 2 tons as a bulk bag delivery but the driver saw that I was working on my own and recommended that I have it delivered loose instead as it would be much easier for me on my own to shovel it off the floor rather than out of a bag. I appreciated this advice and did so. He was right!! The product itself was of very good quality and compacted very well to leave a solid and stable foundation for my concreting that was to follow. I am very pleased to have ordered this from Gills and was grateful for the driver's experienced advice.

I rang Gills at 10.10am this morning to order some items, and asked if could possibly be delivered today, now as it bank holiday I didn't expect it to happen. And the man on phone was exceptionally helpful and polite, assured me I would get my order, at 1pm my order arrived, was perfect for what I wanted and I would highly recommend Gills to anyone for there fast, professional and excellent service. And also price I felt was brilliant.

Ordered 4 ton bags of topsoil Lee fitted me in for a convenient time to suit me<br>And the driver was amazing he managed to get them close to the gate (how he got them that close with a car in his way I don’t know)<br>Fantastic service

Ordered some 5' concrete posts, but delivered 6'. I called them and they said they had no 5' in stock. When I asked them to collect them as they weren't suitable, they collected within 30 mins. I then called and asked if they could cut the posts for me, which they did and re delivered within the hour. Super service. Thank you.
