REDROW has unveiled eagerly-awaited show homes at its St John’s Mews development near Wakefield so homeowners can finally view its three storey stylish living.

Two brand-new Montpellier and Fitzroy End show homes are available for customers to tour at the former Bishopgarth police training centre, in Westfield Road.

“We believe they will agree what an arresting sight they make,” said Steve Jackson, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire).

“St John’s Mews is already proving to be popular with discerning buyers looking for beautiful homes which they can make unique to them.

“The three storey properties give people a great opportunity to style the homes just as they want them, because that extra floor makes homes so flexible and rooms lend themselves to a variety of uses depending on what the customer wants.

“We have had so much interest in St John’s Mews already, with people impressed by the plans they could see, but we do understand that some people prefer to view a house before they buy it and the good news is that now they can.”

All homes hail from Redrow’s Regent Collection which combines classic Georgian-inspired architecture with contemporary and practical interiors which are perfect for modern living.

The Montpellier, priced from £319,950, makes the very most of its three floors and, because it’s been expanded upwards instead of out, it’s competitively priced for a family sized four-bedroom home. Downstairs is a spacious lounge, plus a kitchen and dining area overlooking the garden that’s perfect for family life, dinners and get-togethers.

On the first floor is the master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a second bedroom and family bathroom, and on the floor above are two more bedrooms and another bathroom, making this space perfect for older children or guests, a home office, home gym, playroom and more.

The show home, professionally designed and fully furnished and decorated in soft neutral tones and warm wooden furniture, demonstrates how each property can be beautifully finished and adapted to suit its owner’s needs.

Its two top floor rooms have been designed as a teenage boy’s bedroom with chunky furniture and soft furnishings in greys and blues which the young man of the house would love almost as much as the space and privacy, and a media room with widescreen TV, games console and corner sofa…would he ever come downstairs?!

The Fitzroy End property enjoys similar three storey style, with kitchen and dining area, cloakroom and garage on the ground floor, and three bedrooms – one with en-suite – and a bathroom on the upper floor.  While perhaps the talking feature of this property (or one of them) is the first floor with the master bedroom with en-suite at the rear and the spacious lounge at the front, giving great views from French doors and a fabulous balcony feature.

More than 100 new two, three and four-bedroom homes, currently starting from £284,950, will eventually be built at St John’s Mews less than a mile from the town centre with all the amenities that enjoys and close to the train station providing easy access to Leeds and beyond.

Redrow has many initiatives to make investing in a brand-new home easier, including its own Help to Sell scheme which uses a local estate agent to help find owners with an existing house to sell market their home and find a buyer, and even contributes to estate agent fees.
