A mate at work suggested that I take my Porsche to Scuffbusters for a quote to repair a crack in the front bumper that somebody in the station car park thoughtfully left me with. I was a little hesitant taking my baby to someone Iʼd never heard of, but a quote of £1300 + VAT from a ʼPorsche Approved Repairerʼ made me think again. Scuffbusters said they could do an invisible repair - instead of replacing the bumper - for £175 plus VAT which to be honest worried me more! When I called in I was reassured by how professional they seemed and by the fact that they had another Porsche and a Maserati in the workshop as well as lots of other more usual cars. I booked the car in. I was then taken aback further to be offered a free courtesy car and also told that the repair could be done in one day during the following week (the other garage had wanted my car for 4 days and could not offer me a courtesy car unless I was prepared to wait 4 weeks). I so need not have worried! When I got the car back the repair was completely perfect. The colour matched brilliantly and they had even given my pride and joy a thorough wash, all part of the service apparently! I have now booked my wifeʼs BMW in to have a vandal scratch sorted out and the alloy wheels overhauled, although to be fair I have had to wait two weeks to get it booked in this time and they need the car for two days. Very strongly recommended, a super service at a very reasonably rate.
