My question at the begging was “What will you do for charity?”  This is where I myself fine it hard, you see, ask me to give to a charity and if I think it’s a good cause, and I’ve some money I will, but ask me to pay to see someone sit in a bath of cold beans, or dress up silly and have fun but then ask me to pay for you to do that, well that’s another thing. When I say no I get but it’s for charity. NO its Not, not really, it’s for you to do something really silly because you want to.  I once got asked to pay for someone to drink pint after pint of beer none stop from opening time to closing time, I refuse this time on health and safety. I had to be there on the night as I was working there. The guy started off well, but then he was sick, yes really sick in a bucket. Four more pints and he was on the floor, at last someone stopped it, he was rushed to hospital.  If that wasn’t bad, people refuse to pay up because he didn’t finish the night. This was just someone being silly and rising money to do it. Fun No, charity No this of course is just my way of thinking and there is many good way out there to show you care and rise money at the same time.

The London marathon from small beginnings to world statues is a big one but there is lots more you can do like bike rides, choral concerts, tea parties, golf days, dances and much more. If any of that is your bag, then go for it, enjoy it and rise lots of money, just take care and have fun don’t be silly.

If you want to give it a go and are stuck for ideas check out our event page, always lots to do and join in with all in the name of CHARITY.
