Wow what a great day was had by all at the All Creatures Great and Small fun day on Saturday.

All Creatures Great and Small are members of “The best of Torfaen” and feature on our web site.  

We at the Best of Torfaen were there with our stand and buy local bags to give away.

We were all holding our breath; when at the start the dark clouds came over but nothing came of that and soon the sun was out and many would end up with that red look about them, hope you all had your sun block on?

There were lots to do and see, from the dog show to face painting and with music and live entertainment on all day, lovely to see some of our members there too. Tony the balloon man keeping the children happy with his many different shapes of balloon figures, and we had our own entertainment with Graham one of our newest members from Utility warehouse on his stand opposite us doing his dad dance. Great fun!

I hope you were one of the lucky ones to have one of our lovely (hand screen printed by our member Helen J Taylor design) “buy local” bags, with info on some of our members inside.  They all come highly recommended by people like yourselves, you can check out the members on the Torfaen and Newport, The Best of sites.

The highlight of the day was The Mayor of Torfaen making a beeline for our stand and chatting away to us, lovely seeing Giles and thank you for agreeing to be photographed. Always lovey to see him and its great he was there supporting one of our members.

It was lovely talking to so many people, and thank you to the ones who joined in with the fun and allow me to take your photo some with the selfie board.  There were some great ones, even got a few of the dogs that were enjoying the afternoon sun. My favourite was a baby enjoying a custard cream biscuit she had more on her nose and chin then in her mouth but she loved every minute of it, and posed for me.
