There are so many activities and events happening in The New Forest for children and families over the next week:

A unique selection of Kids Summer Activities for archers, explorers, mariners and soldiers. There’s something for every child. Cost £20 per child.
Where: The New Forest Centre
When: Thursday 13th August, 10:00am until 4:00pm
Themed trails, quizzes and craft activities for all the family. Free entry for under 16s. No booking required.
Where: The Countryside Education Trust's Treehouse
When: Thursday 13th August, 10:00am until 12:00pm
Go along and have a go at hunting for creatures in our pond and searching for mini beasts in the woods!
Where: St John's Church Hall, Hythe
When: Saturday 15th August, 11:00am until 2:00pm
The Arts and Crafts Fair will include jewellery, art, bath bombs, candles, baby blankets, photography, charms, guardian angel symbols and much more! Everyone is very welcome.
Where: Bolderwood
When: 16th, 23rd and 30th August, 2pm to 4pm
An introduction to the New Forest with a Forestry Commission Ranger,for all the family. No need to book, just turn up! Rock up and explore is a Free event.

When: Tuesday 18th August, 10:00am until 11:30am
At campfire craft, You will try several different ways of using your fire such as making char cloth and colour dying. As long as you get a good fire lit, you’ll be able to roast a marshmallow on a stick to finish off a fantastic hands-on campfire session! Suitable for ages 6+
Where: The New Forest Centre
When: Tuesday 18th August, 10:00am until 4:00pm

Where: Highcliffe Castle
When: Wednesday 19th August, 11:00am until 4:00pm
Fun hands-on crafts to keep the children amused, held in the Castle Dining Room. Activities are aimed at primary school aged children and are not suitable for children under three years old.
