Kids Summer Activities

A unique selection of Kids Summer Activities for archers, explorers, mariners and soldiers. There’s something for every child.  Cost £20 per child. 

 

Discover your National Park Day

Where: The New Forest Centre
When: Saturday 22nd August, 10:00am until 4:00pm

Find out all about the New Forest ponies and make your own Hobby Pony!  FREE Entry

 

Family Discovery Day – Magna Carta

Where: The New Forest Centre
When: Tuesday 25th August, 10:00am until 4:00pm

Magna Carta - Themed trails, quizzes and craft activities for all the family. Linked to Commonwealth Games.  No booking required. 

 

Rock up and Explore

Where: Bolderwood
When: 23rd and 30th August, 2pm to 4pm

An introduction to the New Forest with a Forestry Commission Ranger,for all the family.  No need to book, just turn up! Rock up and explore is a Free event.

 

Summer Holiday Nature Detectives

Where: Lepe Country Park
When: Tuesday 25th August, 1:00pm until 2:00pm

Summer Holiday Nature Detectives: Come and join Lepe Country Park for these popular hour long children s activities running throughout the summer. No need to book, just meet outside the park office at 1pm.

 

New Forest Folk Festival

Where: Powells Farm
When: From Wednesday 26th August until Sunday 30th August

The line-up for the New Forest Folk Festival includes Home Service, 3 Daft Monkeys, Little Johnny England, Tannahill Weavers, Ric Sanders Trio Gigspanner, Alan Hull Songbook and many more.

Love The New Forest  - Go along for themed trails, quizzes and craft activities for all the family.

 

Cold War Discovery Day

Where: Lepe Country Park
When: Thursday 27th August, 10:00am until 4:00pm       

Come and learn about Lepe's Cold War history in an event for all the family. Find out about the Royal Observer Corps and the important work they did in their underground Observation Post at the park. Booking essential.  Cost: £3.50 per child
