The Huntsman of Little Wenlock is an award winning Pub / Restaurant owned and operated by a local Shropshire family. The Huntsman’s Bar is a comfortable and cosy retreat thanks to a large log burning fire and plentiful seating, where you can enjoy a wide range of drinks including a selection of locally brewed real ales. The Huntsman features four real ales from local micro brewers (ales change on a regular basis) and more recognised national brands such as Old Speckled Hen and Greene King IPA, which sit alongside the always popular Shropshire Gold and The Huntsman Best Bitter. In the better weather, the secure outdoor terrace is perfect for soaking up the sun, or you can watch the village life go by from the roadside seating area. Bar Manager Karen and her friendly and efficient team are renowned for their fabulous hospitality, making every customer feel like they matter - it's like a 'home from home'.  

The Restaurant serves top quality but good, honest Pub Food - expect traditional British food with a twist, but nothing too frilly or fancy. Expect good wholesome rustic hearty food and the best available local ingredients from trusted and reliable local suppliers. The traditional roasts are widely regarded as 'the best' in the area and are always really popular so it's worth booking early to avoid disappointment.  

The carefully selected and regularly updated Wine List is drawn from some of Shropshire’s finest wine suppliers, including Tanners of Shrewsbury, Addison Wines of Telford and Hard to Find Wines of Bridgnorth. The result is an excellent but affordable wine list that includes many well-known favourites along with some 'cheeky little numbers' from around the world. 

The Accommodation consists of 3 delightful and well-appointed bedrooms, two double and one twin (which can be made into a double if required). The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, each being en-suite and with free Wi-Fi included. Prices include bed and breakfast so you will be eagerly anticipating the morning and savouring the famous Huntsman full English breakfast with delicious local bacon and sausages included. It sets you up well for the day ahead whether it involves work or pleasure and The Huntsman is well located for business in the Telford / Shrewsbury area but far enough away for couples looking for a quiet relaxing night on a leisure break.

Monday to Saturday: 11am till 11pm  (bar closes at 10.30pm on Sunday)

For Dining: 

Monday to Saturday: 12 noon – 3.00pm / 6.00pm – 9:00pm

Sundays: 12 noon - 7:00pm  (we regret that food orders can't be taken after 7pm on Sundays)
