I took a course on Safeguarding delivered by Beth Thomas. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very useful in my role as a school governor. Beth was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions thrown at her fully and accurately. The subject was quite tough in places but she dealt with it sympathetically. I was so impressed that I have booked another course at the end of January.

My child has benefitted from this amazing service and I am now trained in Mentoring practice. What is exceptional about Our Place is the time, support and continued professional training that is placed into the Mentors. The ethos is strong and builds relationships through sharing skills. Our Place encourages the care and support of the child being paramount. Being a champion for a child/ young person.

I attend the HTHT community networking event, facilitated by Our Place Hub , every month and find it a great way to make links in the local third sector community and help where I can!

Our Place are brilliant at co-ordinating the Sutton Coldfield HTHT networking meetings. This is the only opportunity (that I am aware of) to meet other local Sutton Charities etc. It's great to meet people face to face and see if we can help each other out.
