I ordered Iranian Authentic Kebab (Chelo Kebab) ). I liked it,it was the most delicious so far in the UK, especially with a piece of oily bread at its bottom which was interesting. The size and amount of food was acceptable. Yogurt and olive was delicious. Just the staff should be more patient in peak times! They shouldn't recommend customers to leave as soon as they eat because of giving service to new customers! And also they should give customers authority to choose their seat! Respect is a key along with food quality. Customers won't come to restaurant just for eat but for chat with friends and making a memorable time with them. restaurant management has been evaluating in peak times! There is potential to earn more scores if they considering customer relationship. I would try there later again and update my score. I recommend to trying Chelo Kebab there.

What a great find. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. A very cosy, family-run restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Very chilled atmosphere and plenty of customers for a Tuesday night and once the food arrived, we realised why. Everything was so fresh and delicious, from the shared grill platter to the feta salad and the dipping sauces. We had to take a box of leftovers home, but we will definitely return. Added bonus: they also do takeout. 😁

Chelo is a vibe! Cozy little spot with big Persian flavour. The kababs are juicy, the rice is buttery perfection, and the stews feel like a warm hug from grandma’s kitchen. Staff are super friendly and the decor gives off a chilled, stylish vibe. Sutton needed a place like this – proper Persian done right.

My wife, sister, and I came here with my brother in law to celebrate his 70th birthday. It was our first visit. I have to say it won't be the last. The food was exceptional, the service and atmosphere in a packed little restaurant was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come again. Well done to all the staff for giving us an evening that we won't forget for all the right reasons. Tucked away at the end of a row of shops next to the cinema it is well worth seeking out. Thoroughly recommended

Let me tell you chelo took me back to tehran,even the road " Monmouth Rd" leading to the restaurant was giving the north of tehran vibe which was mystical and out of this world ! It was raining and we were listening to "siavash ghomaishy",up a head in the distance i saw the sign and the surrounding areas was in complete harmony. Ali was the guy who served us and he was an absolute gentleman. Ghormeh sabzy was wonderful, jojeh was amazing, the soup was the best soup I've ever had in UK in a restaurant. Interior was nice and clean . We were the only persians in the house at the time and the place was packed with customers. Ali and the whole restaurant made a great memory of our first visit to sutton coldfield. We'll be back .thank you Ali jan

Amazing food..especially the mixed platters..also the veg wrap was delicious too..nice location..off road parking..so first time experience in persian food..thoroughly enjoyed..I did not book..however it was busy and accommodated a family of 3.the persian black tea was exquisite..excellent taste..and enjoyable..will go back soon

We went as a group of 9 after Eid our prayers a the mosque. The service was fantastic, very polite and curteous. We ordered starters and mains at the same time and towards the end, most of it was all devoured, it was that tasty.
