Stowmarket Carnival is a wonderful FREE family occasion, running for over 60 years, providing affordable fun and entertainment for local families.
Main events take place on the town’s Recreation Ground (the Rec) starting on Friday evening with Bandeoke, and running midday Saturday to Sunday afternoon, with a host of entertainments, including a range of music, and of course food and drink.
On Saturday the much-loved Carnival procession goes through Stowmarket town, led by the Carnival Court, with floats, vehicles, walkers, dancers, singers, and fancy dress galore.
On Sunday the Rec plays host to the Classic Car & Bike show.
And Stocks Funfair runs on the Rec throughout the weekend.
