A late 14th Century Hall House on the main square, it mirrors the history of Lavenham over the centuries. First built in the 1390s as a family house and workplace, it was enlarged, improved and modernised in the mid-1550s, and greatly extended later. By the 1700s it was giving homes to six families.
It will be reopening and you are being invited to visit and take part in the celebration. Starting on March 28 and continuing until November 2020. Each day begins at 10 am and goes until 1 pm, so there is plenty of time to come in and see the improvements.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £1 per student for school groups
