Following Suffolk’s record-breaking heatwave summer, many of us are reflecting on how extreme weather is already affecting our communities, farmland and natural environment. While these changes can sometimes feel overwhelming, there is much we can do when we understand the challenges ahead and work together.

Join us for a compelling film presented by Chris Packham, bringing together some of the UK’s leading experts to explain the risks posed by climate change and nature loss, along with practical solutions that can help build a more resilient future. Created as part of the People’s Emergency Briefing initiative, it aims to inform, inspire and encourage meaningful conversations about the future of our communities.

Following the screening, there will be a facilitated discussion giving local residents the opportunity to share their thoughts, ask questions and explore what resilience means for Sudbury and the surrounding area. Our hope is that people leave feeling informed, empowered and ready to start conversations with family, friends and neighbours. Change often starts with small actions, and those conversations can have a ripple effect.

Everyone is welcome, please invite a neighbour or colleague. Please note that, due to some of the themes and issues discussed within the film, this screening is suitable for audiences aged 16 and over.
