Olaf Falafel – Biography

Olaf Falafel is an author, illustrator and a stand-up comedian. He's a former winner of The Funniest Joke of the Edinburgh Fringe and has created and performed several stupidly named comedy shows including Olaf Falafel and the Cheese Of Truth.

His family-friendly Super Stupid Show is award-nominated and also a festival favourite amongst fellow comedians and their kids.

As well as trying to make people laugh on stage, Olaf writes and illustrates children’s books including Blobfish, the Trixie Pickle Art Avenger series and his joke book A Poo On A Pogo Stick.

Olaf has an Youtube Art Club where he teach kids how to draw and how to recreate famous artists – he also writes a monthly children’s art column for The Week Junior magazine.

Alongside entertaining and educating children online, he is a prolific visitor of schools. When his ‘One Giant Leek for Mankind’ picture book was published Olaf got to spread his unique brand of silliness in person by visiting 100 schools in 100 days.
