A full car park at 12.15 was the first good sign, a light and bright entrance and a friendly greeting followed. Reasonable wait for the food but it was well worth it. Toilets were clean and smelled fresh, pity we don't live closer to try the full menu.

We decided to visit the Fox for breakfast having had lunch and evenings meals there before which we have always enjoyed.

Rib Eye steak was superb. Well worth the extra £3 supplement. Good friendly service (just don't forget that you have to order food at the bar!) and a straightforward will cooked menu.

Really excellent place. The coffee was top notch at a great price. Decided to stay for lunch which was absolutely excellent...all freshly cooked and prepared. It's so great when you find such a good quality place.

The Bulmer Fox is magnificent !
Henry, the proprietor and host, and his team run a large, spacious restaurant serving good Anglo/French styled cuisine at a moderate price.
The bar is well stocked with an assortment of ales, lagers and ciders, and is well maintained, as is the wine cellar.
The taditional Sunday Roast is one of the best around !!

This is my local. We love it so much here, the food is great and reasonably priced. The staff are wonderful and the service is brilliant. They are not open everyday in the evenings anymore but their supper club is fantastic. I would strongly recommend checking there website and booking a seat for the next supper club - you will not be disappointed. The only reason I have not given them five stars is because they are not open every night.
