Quay theatre is an excellent local theatre. It has a diverse programme of shows and events. The theatre feels very intimate, you are very close to the actors and that makes it quite exciting. The theatre is comfortable, there is a Great bar and good facilities. The staff and volunteers are very friendly too. We are very lucky to have this theatre. I highly recommend a visit.

The Quay is a lovely, quaint, cosy little theatre, that brings the big shows in for those that can't get to or don't like the city. Shows from the National Theatre and the Royal Opera House without needing a train to London! Drama, comedy, tribute music acts, there's something for everyone. We've been to many of the tribute act nights and the atmosphere and energy radiates from the band to the audience and back again, just fabulous! A great night out with a good bar too.

The Quay is a small theatre where you really feel part of the performance. Tribute acts are a winner and with many, if you close your eyes, you could be listening to the original. Long may it continue

Lovely friendly theatre. Very high standard production! First time visiting so wasn't sure what to expect, especially as was advertised as an amateur production. We watched Miss Pettigrew Lives for a day. In my view it was even better than the film version that we had watched!

Went to see James Phelan the magician. Lovely intimate venue. Plenty of parking and lovely setting next to the river. Various artwork displayed on the walls. Ground floor has seating and the toilets are also located here. First floor is the entrance to the theatre. The second floor has a bar for drinks and snacks with a large seating area. Just to the left is another seating area with nice view's out of the large windows. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the whole premises are clean and tidy 10/10 💖
