On 19th December 2011 The WNAA opened a shop in Stratford upon Avon. The shop is the charity's third to open in the county.
The WNAA attend on average four incidents a day and use the most advanced civilian aircraft available to transport their highly trained medical staff to the scenes of an incident where time is critical or access is limited.
This service comes at a financial cost, each mission on average costs £1400 and it costs over £1.7m to keep the WNAA operational.
To operate this service the WNAA is totally funded by donations, sponsorship and fundraising events. They do not receive any government or National Lottery funding and are therefore reliant on us, the local community, that they serve so well for support.
The Statford upon Avon Shop is located at 21 Greenhill Street - so pop in and browse or just say hi to the friendly staff. Alternatively if you could offer some help with either donations or time the staff will be more than happy to talk to you.
