On Wednesday last week I joined over 50 local businesses at the first every Business Exhibition in Stratford Upon Avon including Best of Stratford members Galena, PSW Paper & Print, Kearney Creative and Jet Vehicle Finance. I met some great local businesses at the event and spoke to people walking around the event. I know that the Best of Stratford members also enjoyed themselves and hopefully picked up some business from the event.
Special thanks goes to Jonathan Smith from The Stratford Business Forum and Ginko Properties who very succesfully organised the event. I will definatly be putting my name down for the next one, and would recommend that any local business looking to get their name know does the same.
I was also very shocked on the day as just before i was leaving i popped over to see the Safety Link & Corio Printing stands. They were just about to do the draw for their raffle and i hadnt given them my business card to be included in the draw. I gave them my card and went back to finishing packing my stall away. 2 Minutes later Liz Bennett from Safety Link popped over with a Magnum of Champagne for me and £50's worth of Printing from Corio Printing. To say i was chuffed was an understatement.
All in all it was a great day and i made some really great contacts.
