The Stratford upon Avon council has recently rejected plans by developers to build 800 new homes in the region.
The proposed site is to the west of Shottery near to Anne Hathaway's Cottage.
All nine members of the council rejected the proposal going against the recommendations of the councils planning officers. It is expected that the developers will appeal against the councillors decision.
