A man heavily dowsed himself and a staff member in petrol at the Jobcentre Plus in Stratford one afternoon last week before threatening to set the building on fire.
The 32 year old man from Stratford walked into the Jobcentre and poured petrol over himself and a staff member, he then held up a lighter and threatened to set alight to the petrol.
Five police cars arrived at the Jobcentre within minutes of this happening and the man was arrested later.
