Bonfire Night

With Bonfire night less than a month away it is perhaps time to think about where and how you are going to celebrate and enjoy this fun night.

The most important factor is the safety of everyone. If you are planning to hold a Bonfire or Fireworks party at home please reaquaint yourself with the fireworks code. It will only take a few moments to read and will refresh your memory on all aspects from buying fireworks to the setting off of fireworks.

An alternative to DIY is to go to a properly run event of which there will be plenty in the area. Keep an eye on thebestofstratford for a full listing as they are annnounced. One of the main benefits of an organised event is that there usually is a lot more than just fireworks on offer. Food , drink and music are quite often available.

Above all keep safe and have fun.

P.S. Remember pets - some can become quite disturbed by the loud noises and lights. Contact your local vet for full information.
