It's that time of year again that some parents dread - the summer holidays. In Stratford upon Avon we are fortunate enough to have a wide range of activities to help keep both the children and parents occupied!

On 14th August join Stratford Garden Centre for a day of activities from face painting to a childsplay ceramic studio. See here for further details.

If you have a budding thespian in the family perhaps The RSC is the place to head for. Throughout the summer there will  be a number of different activities available from stage fighting to the secrets of the make-up artists.

If all that sounds a little too hectic why not enjoy the tranquility of Stratford  Butterfly Farm - where you can see some of the world's most colourful and beautiful creatures.

And if magic is your thing then The Magic Alley and Museum of Wizardolgy  is a must. It is regarded as one of England's most magical visitor experiences and is sure to thrill the whole family.

And finally if it's the outdoors you want then The River Avon and Bancroft Gardens are a wonderful place to while away a few hours and enjoy a picnic.
