If you are like me and you find the task of buying presents a difficult thing to do for some people, then we at 'the best of Stratford'  may have discovered the answer!

In Tudor Courtyard off Ely Street is a little gem of a shop.  The Indoor Picnic might be one of the smallest shops around, but it is also one of the most colourful and interesting shops.

Indeed you don't even have to enter the shop before you get a chance to catch a glimpse of the many and varied items for sale.  The owner and artist (Anna) carefully arranges some items outside.  On sale is a wide range of items, ranging from vintage and antique china and cakestands, reclaimed furniture, fabulous aprons,  handmade fabric jewellery to retro style giftware and handmade natural bath products.

Such is the quality of Anna's work that many of her customers come back frequently to buy that extra special gift or even to browse and talk to one of Stratford upon Avon's more artistic residents.

So if you are looking for something different, something special for a gift or even if you only want to browse, take a walk up one of Stratford upon Avon's more unusual streets and discover one of the town's true hidden gems!
