Dear Barrie. I gave you a referral last Friday informing you that I will have two pallets to pick up from a freight depot in Ipswich. You were told that this would be a very urgent collection, for as soon as goods had cleared customers I would need them delivered to Stevenage, to be repacked and collected by a transport company to get them to Manchester the next day as Tesco were giving me a lot of grief. You were told that the Depot opened at 08.30 but I received a phone call from you at 08.15 telling me that your driver was at the depot and about to be loaded. He was told that there was in fact three pallets and we would have to pay £5 for an extra pallet. This he did to speed up loading. He arrived at my factory at 11.15 and couldn’t have been more helpful. Even tying straps to the pallets to allow me to drag them to the back of the van with the fort-lift. Because of your speed and efficiency, they were repacked and left here at 16.15 on route to Manchester. Also, what impressed me was the fact you did the job for £30 less than the transport companies cost. Needless to say, I would not consider using anyone else to do this job for me in future, as your service was second to none. We would have no hesitation to recommend your company in the future.
