Two expanding Stoke-on-Trent companies are helping each other spread the word on new-found confidence and business acceleration.

Trentham-based CPR (Construction Plans & Regulations) Ltd looked to Longton full service marketing and PR agency Creative Avenue Ltd, when after 10 years they decided that for the business to progress to the next level of growth, something extra was needed.

CPR specialises in Building Regulation approval and compliance and as an Approved Inspector it helps to set industry benchmarks and standards. After consulting with Creative Avenue they quickly appreciated a more dynamic persona was required to match their proactive and can do approach - if they were to maximise the national opportunities increasingly coming their way.

CPR managing director, Martin Cooper, explains: “Creative Avenue really opened our eyes to the importance of brand image and perception, because whilst word-of-mouth referral is great, when you consistently deliver the specialised and professional service we do then you have to maximise the goodwill, buzz and bolt-on opportunities it brings. We successfully combine national level skills with local level personal service, but instead of us being modest and keeping it quiet the new marketing/branding collateral and plan that Creative Avenue has delivered will help to communicate that - and play a major part in our forward strategy for the next 10 years.”

Creative Avenue director, Martin Clunn adds: “All of CPR’s success to date is down to their principles, a thorough, professional approach and highly experienced team, but that can only take you so far. Via continual and consistent brand management and marketing planning they will be much better placed to take advantage of new and greater opportunities. As a fully integrated creative agency we have the maturity and understanding to go into any business and bring a holistic approach to a company’s marketing. We strategize, plan, implement and deliver, plus our full service offering is now even stronger with an ex-McCann Erickson PR director on board.”

CPR is fast developing a reputation for handling innovative, aesthetic and technically difficult projects, ranging from domestic extensions to multi-million pound commercial schemes. Visit http://www.cprbuildingcontrol.co.uk/ to view the new branding.

Creative Avenue is increasingly being asked for ongoing consultancy on a retainer basis after further integrated marketing and PR success stories - http://www.creativeavenue.co.uk/

CPR is hosting an open evening with light refreshments on Thursday 7th February (5-8pm) at their Bellringer Road premises for customers old and new. Anyone with connections to or an interest in the architectural, building, surveying and construction industries is welcome to attend – as are members of the public undertaking domestic extensions. Telephone 01782 658929 to reserve your space as numbers are limited.
