Potters' Academy holding trial night for young stoppers STOKE CITY’s Academy will be holding a goalkeeper’s trial night later this week… with a chance for aspiring stoppers to impress the Club’s youth coaching staff. The event will take place on Friday 30th November at the Potters’ Clayton Wood Training Ground, and no prior registration is needed.
Goalkeepers are requested to turn up on the night wearing suitable goalkeeping clothing, with each session being held on the 3G pitch so therefore metal studs are not allowed. The 6pm-7pm session will cater for goalkeepers between the ages of six and 11, while the hour between 7pm and 8pm will give 12-16 year-old ‘keepers the opportunity show off their glove work.
