This week sees the band coming of age with a grand total of 18 years under our belt. Who would have thought all those years ago that the band would still be going strong with such fantastic members and supporters.
This year is also volunteer’s week and we would like to pass on our hearty thanks to everyone past and present who has helped the band grow and develop over the last 18 years. We’ve had lots of fun along the way but we really wouldn’t be as successful without all the many volunteers commitment of time and energy – so thank you enormously and here’s to the next 18 years!
The band’s official birthday is Saturday 8th June and we will be celebrating this weekend! Saturday and Sunday is our pre-season camp at Shugborough Outdoor Education Centre, if you would like to join us on Saturday night for birthday party fun and a camp fire then please feel free to come along.
We will of course bring you photos and stories about our celebrations.
